DON'T GET TRAPPED IN YOUR CAR!

After an accident, your seat belts or doors may become jammed and power locks or windows may not work. If that happens, having a safety hammer in your car can save your life.

If you need to escape from your vehicle...
FIND safety hammer and pull from top to release from holder.
HOOK blade over the seat belt and pull down firmly to cut through it.
SHIELD your face, especially your eyes, and instruct others in the car to do the same.
BREAK a side window by swinging the pointed face of the hammer firmly at the glass with an overhand motion. The window should break in one or two blows.
KNOCK out remaining glass from window with the end of the safety hammer.
ESCAPE!
